At 8:00 a.m. on June 5, members of the team of Chinalco Luoyang Copper Processing Co., Ltd.(refers to Luoyang Copper below) visited the home of Chen Dong,the aerospace hero, whose parents are retired employee of Luoyang Copper, and expressed warmly congratulatons to Luoyang Copper's children Chen Dong as the commander of the Shenzhou 14 manned flight mission.

In the home of Chen Dong's parents in Jianxi District, Luoyang City, Henan Province, flowers surrounded the happy and excited Chen Dong's parents. Everyone watched the live broadcast of the launch of the Shenzhou spacecraft and told the interesting stories of Chen Dong's learning and growth when he was a child.

"Chen Dong's father is also my master, Chen Shulin, and Chen Dong's mother, Huang Yan, is an employee of our Luoyang Copper Testing Company,too. We are all proud that Chen Dong carried out the Shenzhou manned mission once again !" Wang Qiang, the squad leader of the chemical room of the Testing Technology Company of Chinalco Luoyang Copper Processing Co., Ltd., said excitedly to everyone.

Luoyang Copper is one of 156 key construction projects during the country's "First Five-Year Plan" period. It has cast my country's first bronze ingot, the first magnesium alloy flat ingot, produced the first copper pipe bar, and rolled our country's first over-size copper plate, which is still hanging on the top of the gate of the Chinese People's Revolutionary Military Museum, with the name of the museum inscribed by Chairman Mao Zedong.
